December 6, 2022: This will probably be my last update of the year, so I'll start out by saying to anyone who reads these updates, I hope you have a happy, healthy rest of 2022 and 2023. I've been a busy bee over here, which I'll go into more detail about in my newsletter on the 15th (if you haven't signed up, please do https://linktr.ee/tiffanyandrea). Basically, I had to concede and accept that my puppy covers were not appealing to readers in general. It was a tough call, because I love those covers, and I hate following the crowd, but I love the stories enough that I wanted to give them the best chance at being read. So I've revamped the covers for the A New Leash On Life series to fit genre expectations. I will say, though, they are super cute. On top of that, I've been busy writing, and have my next release, Tell-Tail Sign almost ready to go out to ARC readers, and I'm so close to finishing Con Artist, which I'll be sending to new beta readers at the end of the month!

March 19, 2023: It's amazing that nearly quarter of the year has flown by and I've neglected to leave an update. I've been so busy with 2 releases so far this year, another one coming in nine days, and I've also had over a dozen other projects since the beginning of the year. Things are finally starting to slow down, but if you'd like to receive more frequent updates, don't forget to sign up for my newsletter. 

With Tell-Tail Sign and Con Artist launched, next up is The Pugly Truth, which will be available March 28th. For the first time, this book will not be available on Kindle Unlimited. Beyond that, I'm having to remove my other books from the KU program. Long story short, my books keep being pirated, and if KU discovers them on other sites, whether I put them there or not, that's considered a breach of their exclusivity contract, and I'm at risk of having my entire account closed. Since pirates don't like to play by the rules, I have to remove my books (for now). On the flip side, that means my books will soon be available on more platforms, like KOBO and Google Play. So it's not all bad. 

That being said, please don't read material from pirate sites. They profit off of author's work, and the authors are often punished for having their work stolen. It's a backwards, unfortunate system, but that's the truth of it. If you're looking for free books, sign up for author's newsletters, check out free promos they share, sign up for ARCs to get advance free copies, or visit your library. Libby is a great (legitimate) way to access eBooks as well. 

Don't forget to grab your copy of The Pugly Truth for 99 cents while you can, because the price will increase on launch day.

February 1, 2024: Yikes. Apparently, I didn't save my last update, because I'm sure it hasn't been more than 10 months since I reported in! Then again, life has been totally crazy, so maybe it has just flown by. Since March of last year, we sold our home of over 10 years, moved to a hobby farm, took a family vacation (with nearly 40 family members) to Cuba, and have been settling into our new life as homesteaders. We've grown our flock of chickens to 14, have 12 more on order, will soon be adopting a few retired ponies, and have ambitious plans for our gardens this year. Needless to say, it's been a lot! 

All while adjusting to that, my husband has been away for work, meaning I'm solo-parenting/homesteading/homeschooling and working. I've been writing whenever I have the chance, but have struggled to commit to one work in progress. I'm nearing the finish line on a celebrity romance that serves as a companion to Pitty Party (though, it can be read on its own), so that will likely be my next release. At this rate, it will be at least March before that happens. 

Sigh. Sometimes life has to take priority over fiction. Bummer. 

Anyway, check out Pitty Party, which is available now on most major platforms and free through Kobo Plus. As mentioned before, I had to remove my books from Kindle Unlimited because of pirate sites with no respect for copyright laws... and as it turns out, nobody to hold them accountable. However, Kobo Plus is an amazing alternative, which has more affordable options if you're an ebook/audiobook lover!
